GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Charity Auction SaleSalons Hoche – Paris
The charity auction sale is organized by:
Expertisez SAS, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €12,000, founded in 2002, operating as a voluntary public auction operator (O.V.V.) governed by the French law of July 20, 2011 and registered with the Conseil des Ventes Volontaires de meubles aux enchères publiques under number 068-2015.

Exhibition of the Lots
The artworks and objects offered for sale will be exhibited on-site at:
Salons Hoche
9 avenue Hoche

On the day of the sale from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
This exhibition allows bidders to inspect the lots before the auction. Descriptions, dimensions, attributions, and estimates mentioned in the catalogue or announced orally are provided for informational purposes only.
Estimates are purely indicative and do not guarantee the final hammer price.
Conduct of the Sale
The auction sale will begin at 8:30 PM at Salons Hoche.
Auctions organized by Expertisez SAS are broadcast live online, notably through:
- Expertisez
- Encherissez
- Drouot.com / Drouot Live
The artworks are presented on the Expertisez, Encherissez and Drouot.com websites where the dates and times of the auction are specified.
The highest and final bidder will be declared the successful purchaser.
The auction is conducted in euros, even when relayed through foreign auction platforms using different currencies.
No Buyer’s Premium
As part of this charity auction sale, no buyer’s premium or additional auction fees will be charged.
The hammer price therefore corresponds to the total amount payable by the purchaser.
Payment
Payment must be made immediately after the sale.
An invoice will be issued at the end of the auction, indicating the available payment methods.

Please note that Expertisez SAS does not have access to the banking details provided during registration on third-party auction platforms.
All payments must therefore be made immediately after the sale according to the payment procedures provided by the auction house.
The purchaser receives an invoice and shall only become the owner of the lot once full and effective payment has been received by Expertisez SAS.
From the fall of the hammer, lots become the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are advised to insure their acquisitions immediately after adjudication.
Collection and Delivery of LotsLots Purchased via Drouot Live
Lots purchased through Drouot Live must be collected by appointment only at:

Lots Purchased in the Auction Room
Lots purchased in the auction room may:
- be collected directly after payment of the invoice;
- or be delivered by a carrier arranged and paid for by the organizing association.
Non-Payment
In accordance with Article 14 of French Law No. 2000-642 dated July 10, 2000, in the event of non-payment by the successful bidder, and after formal notice remains unsuccessful, the lot may be re-offered for sale at the seller’s request at the defaulting bidder’s expense.
If the seller does not make such a request within one month following the auction, the sale shall be automatically cancelled, without prejudice to any damages owed by the defaulting bidder.
The auction operator is a member of the Central Register for Prevention of Unpaid Invoices maintained by French auctioneers, where payment incidents may be recorded.
Rights of access, rectification and objection for legitimate reasons may be exercised by the concerned debtor with:

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
In accordance with French law, all civil liability claims relating to valuations and voluntary or judicial public auction sales of movable property are subject to a limitation period of five years from the date of the auction or valuation.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed exclusively by French law.
Any dispute relating to their existence, validity, enforceability, or execution shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France.
