The large plaster was modified in 1928 following the successive modifications of the reductions published from 1926 onwards, marking the stages of research in bronze. The wax allowing adaptations without changing the foundry plaster. These proofs, all different, show the hesitations but all are close to the final version adopted and transferred to the large plaster in 1927/28. The proof bears the engraved no. 7 under the right hind leg concealed by a welded plate integral with the left front leg bearing the foundryman's mark also engraved before the black patina. The neck has been lengthened and the raised head is turned, accompanying the movement, Exhibition: reproduced in the catalogue of the exhibit
