Vincent MANAGO (1880-1936) - Barques au départ - Oil on panel signed lower right - 23 x 32 cm Note: Vincent Manago was a very popular painter in Marseille between 1900 and 1913, where his work was shown at the Foire internationale de Marseille and the Exposition coloniale des pays d'Afrique et de Provence. He specialized in landscape, seascape and genre paintings of the Mediterranean coast (Port de Martigues, La Rochelle, Venice) and Orientalist painting.
