Although he was forced to return to France several times, in 1937 a first time before obtaining a position as a drawing teacher in Rabat, then during the Second World War, he always hurried to Morocco, his adopted country where he was, from 1946, appointed drawing teacher at the Gouraud high school in Rabat. His best known works are undoubtedly his posters promoting Moroccan tourism.
