Height : 62 cm Note: Raphaël Schwartz, known as Raphaël-Schwartz, was a sculptor of Lithuanian origin who trained in Paris, where he studied at the Académie Julian. Active during the first half of the twentieth century, he is renowned for his figurative sculptures celebrating the beauty of the human body, often imbued with softness and realism. Collaborating with prestigious foundrymen such as Valsuani, his works reflect a constant search for balance between naturalism and artistic emotion. His mastery of modelling and elegant posture reflect Raphaël-Schwartz's artistic sensibility.
