André Vincent BECQUEREL (1893-1981) - Lot 52
André Vincent BECQUEREL (1893-1981)
Walking panther
Bronze sculpture, signed on the terrace
28 x 66 x 16 cm
Note: In this bronze sculpture, André-Vincent Becquerel captures with finesse and dynamism the fluid, powerful gait of a panther in motion. His precise modeling and mastery of naturalism give the animal a striking elegance, characteristic of his work in animal sculpture. Through a subtle interplay of curves and tensions, the artist restores the panther's strength and suppleness, creating a work that is both realistic and graceful.
