Richard ORLINSKI (b. 1966) - Silver Kong - Lot 68
Richard ORLINSKI (b. 1966) - Silver Kong Christmas edition 2022 Resin With original box 19 x 13.5 x 6 cm Certificate of authenticity enclosed Note: Wild Kong is an iconic work by Richard Orlinski. Open-mouthed with frightening fangs, pounding his torso with menacing fists, he proclaims himself invincible. But the ferocious beast is also capable of tenderness. The sculptor was inspired by the film King Kong to create an allegory of the "perfect man". Who is the wilder beast or the wilder human? Richard Orlinski questions man's own animality.
