Claude VENARD (1913-1999) The Lighthouse Oil on canvas 55 x 46 cm A certificate in Claude Venard's handwriting will be given to the buyer. Note: Le Phare is an oil on canvas by Claude Venard, in which the artist combines abstraction and figuration to depict a lighthouse. With its strong color palette and distinct geometric forms, the work captures the light and structure of the lighthouse while interpreting its elements with a post-Cubist approach. The use of texture and dynamic brushstrokes gives this maritime scene a unique energy and depth. The canvas's smaller format allows us to appreciate the work's detail and expressive power, while offering a glimpse of how Venard transforms classic landscape elements into modern, abstract compositions. This painting is a great opportunity for collectors interested in Claude Venard's work and modern interpretation of landscapes.
