P. J. WALTER - Lot 145
P. J. WALTER Enameled stoneware vase Decorated with storks Height: 28 cm Scratches Note: Enameled stoneware vase signed P. J. Walter, presented with a stork decoration in slight relief or enamel enhancement. The animal motif, frequently used in French ceramics from the early to the first half of the XXᵉ century, evokes a meticulous workshop production, where nuanced glazes emphasize the silhouettes of the birds. The decoration is particularly attractive thanks to the contrast of colors and the regionalist theme.
