Aurel NEDEL (1930 - 2014) - Lot 194
Aurel NEDEL (1930 - 2014)
Girl on a chair holding a teddy bear
Oil on isorel,
Signed lower right
Note: Charming composition by Aurel Nedel depicting a seated little girl holding a teddy bear.
The artist, known for his intimate scenes, portraits of children and soft palette, renders here a warm, tender atmosphere.
The technique on isorel provides a lightly textured surface that enriches the pictorial material.
The scene, balanced and expressive, perfectly illustrates Nedel's taste for depicting childhood.
