Jordan RETARD (XX-XXIth) - Lot 228
Jordan RETARD (XX-XXIth) Alix, The Bed and the Cross, Avignon, 2024 Silver print Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm Note: This recent photograph by Jordan Retard explores the tension between intimacy and symbolism. Through the contrast between the bed and the cross, the artist questions the relationship between the body, desire and the sacred, in an approach that is both aesthetic and introspective. Silver print produced using a traditional process, emphasizing the depth of the blacks and the sensuality of the material.
