Steve McQueen and his Norton Commando, circa 1970 - Lot 29
Steve McQueen and his Norton Commando, circa 1970 Black-and-white digital print 30.5 x 20 cm Note: This scene evokes Steve McQueen's genuine passion for mechanics and British motorcycles of the 1970s, in particular the legendary Norton Commando. Leaning over the engine, aviator glasses and precise gestures, the actor appears in his element, far from the film set. The image conveys the intensity of his relationship with machines: a blend of rigor, curiosity and freedom that has become inseparable from his legend.
