Gérard FOUQUET (XXth) - Lot 86

Gérard FOUQUET (XXth) Romane Bohringer, with Melvil Poupaud in Deauville Print with autograph Dimensions: 20 x 10.5 cm Note: Photograph of Romane Bohringer and Melvil Poupaud, taken during the Deauville American Film Festival. This image captures two young figures of French cinema at the start of their careers, at a time when their careers are structuring and asserting themselves. Romane Bohringer, the magnetic revelation of the 1990s (Les Nuits fauves, César for Best Newcomer), and Melvil Poupaud, a precocious actor who has become a pillar of auteur cinema, appear here in a spontaneous composition that reflects the spirit of the festival and the closeness between artists and photographers.
