MURANO - Lot 53

MURANO Faisant Sculpture in molded and pressed glass Dimensions: 37 x 34 x 10 cm approx. Accident on the beak Note: This elegant glass sculpture depicts a stylized pheasant, recognizable by its long, tapered tail and delicately pressed details. The glasswork blends transparency with golden inclusions that enliven the plumage and accentuate the animal's dynamic appearance. The balance between smooth volumes and finely striated parts - notably the wings and head - testifies to a craftsmanship typical of French production in the XXᵉ century. Despite an accident to the beak, the piece retains all the vivacity of its modeling and the decorative quality that makes it a fine collector's item, on the border between animal sculpture and decorative glass art.
