Pierre d'Avesn - Lot 105
Pierre d'Avesn Pressed-molded glass vase France, circa 1930-1940 Height: approx. 20-22 cm Colorless molded-pressed glass vase, with vertical ribbed decoration forming a curved silhouette, and a wavy rosette-shaped upper rim. The base features a light pink/red-tinted circular highlight, characteristic of some of Avesn's work after his time with Daum and his creations for Verrerie d'Art Lorrain. This model is unsigned - which is common for a significant part of his production - but its style, upper ripples and thickened glass work correspond to the models attributed to the artist. - Very good condition - Slight traces of use, no visible chips
