Press-molded frosted glass vase In the taste of 1920s art studios Atelier Pomone - Le Bon Marché Or Tops verrier - ateliers du Bon Marché / Primavera / La Maîtrise Height: approx. 25 cm A slender frosted glass vase decorated with a large geometric-vegetal motif in relief, obtained by molding-pressing and then partial sandblasting. This type of stylized decoration, very similar to the creations of the 1920s, refers to the productions of the art studios of Parisian department stores: Atelier Pomone at Le Bon Marché, Primavera for Printemps, or La Maîtrise at Galeries Lafayette, then run by Paul Follot. Glassmakers like Tops collaborated with these structures to produce similar models in thick decorative glass.
