ARNTBEE (XX-XXI) - Lot 226
ARNTBEE (XX-XXI) To be free II To be free III Set of 2 gouaches on paper Signed Titled 65.2 x 50 cm Note: These two compositions, from the To be free series, illustrate Arntbee's characteristically free and spontaneous gestures. The artist explores the dynamics of line and the vibration of color, in a plastic language that is readily instinctive. A few traces of wear and tear or marks of handling can be noted, without detracting from the visual impact of the whole.
