Stéphane FRADET-MOUNIER (1961) - Lot 232
Stéphane FRADET-MOUNIER (1961)
Scale
Gouache on paper
Signed lower right
76.5 x 57 cm
Curled paper
Note: This emblematic composition by Stéphane Fradet-Mounier features a stylized ladder, a recurring motif in his work, symbolizing elevation, passage or tension between two worlds. Gouache, applied in dense flat tints, gives the piece a strong graphic presence. Slight marks of wear inherent to the technique and the support may be observed, without altering the quality of the visual reading.
