Henry Kissinger and Marlo Thomas at the U.S.C. party in Holl - Lot 145

Henry Kissinger and Marlo Thomas at the U.S.C. party in Hollywood, 1971 Vintage silver press print Dimensions: 25 x 19.5 cm Note: This photograph associates a major political figure of the XXᵉ century with an icon of American popular culture, in a Hollywood social setting. This type of image, on the boundary between political history, society and celebrity, enjoys greater appeal than strictly institutional portraits. The presence of Marlo Thomas, a committed and highly identified media personality in the America of the 1960s-1970s, reinforces the iconographic interest and broadens the potential audience (collectors of political photography, the press, American pop culture).
