Jean-Pierre LAFFONT (Born 1932) - Lot 167
Jean-Pierre LAFFONT (Born 1932) La parade, tous unis, June 1970 Vintage silver print Photographer's stamp and typed caption in French on back 30.5 x 20.5 cm Note: This photo was taken at the very first Gay Pride in history, in New York. The event received little press coverage. Only photojournalist Jean-Pierre Laffont, sent by the Gamma agency, was commissioned to report on the event. Today, his images provide invaluable testimony to this seminal moment.
