Frédéric NOY (1965) - Lot 273

Frédéric NOY (1965) Saint-Joseph Cathedral Silver print Signed, titled, dated, located and justified 5/30 in the margin Dimensions including margins: 40 x 50 cm Note: In this composition of great narrative force, Frédéric Noy aptly captures a moment of speaking within an assembly, revealing the silent intensity that links the speaker to his audience. The interplay of glances, the frontal posture and the clear lighting give the scene an almost ceremonial dimension. True to his humanist approach, Noy manages to capture the essence of a moment where authority, listening and sharing come together, giving this image a rare social and emotional depth. A print where documentary commitment meets photographic sensitivity.
