Thierry VALENCIN (1962) - Lot 286
Thierry VALENCIN (1962) Camargue, Arles, 2004 Silver print On back, artist's stamp, signed and justified reading proof Dimensions including margins: 30 x 24 cm Note: In this photograph taken in the Camargue in 2004, Thierry Valençin depicts the bull as an almost unreal apparition. The blur transforms the animal into a ghostly silhouette, suspended between presence and disappearance. Far from a documentary image, the scene becomes meditative and symbolic, evoking the strength, solitude and mystery of this land. The silver print, with its deep blacks and velvety nuances, reinforces this timeless, dreamlike atmosphere.
