His silver prints, often imbued with blur, matter and silence, privilege emotion over description, allowing an almost dreamlike dimension to emerge. Influenced as much by painting as by humanist photography, he constructs images that oscillate between appearance and erasure. Each work thus becomes a trace, a visual memory, inviting the viewer to slow contemplation. His work is part of an ongoing investigation into time, perception and the poetry of reality.
