Angélique BOISSIÈRE (XX-XXI) - Lot 314

Angélique BOISSIÈRE (XX-XXI) Ada III, 2023 Silver print In the margin, signed, titled, dated and numbered 1/10 Image size: 22 x 22 cm Sheet size: 30 x 30 cm Note : This nude is built on a subtle balance between abandon and mastery. The body, reclining in a relaxed posture, seems given over to gravity, while the composition remains rigorously thought out. Light glides over the skin, underlining its volumes without ever dramatizing them, creating an atmosphere of calm and intimacy. Boissière doesn't seek to provoke: she inscribes the body in a slow, almost suspended temporality, where presence is self-evident. The gaze becomes contemplative, inviting a sensitive reading of form, breath and vulnerability.
