Gérard FOUQUET (XXth) - Lot 338

Gérard FOUQUET (XXth) Eric Rochant Print autographed by Rochant Copyright on back Dimensions: 23.5 x 18 cm Curled paper Note: This black-and-white print bears witness to Gérard Fouquet's spontaneous, lively approach to his models, favoring candid shots in urban settings. The image, marked by a symbolic gesture and a recognizable street scene, captures the effervescence of a moment linked to the artistic and cinematographic events of the time. The autograph on the lower margin lends a personal dimension to the print, reinforcing its uniqueness. The slightly warped paper does not alter the narrative force or documentary value, typical of Fouquet's work in the years when he was multiplying portraits of cultural personalities.
