Stencilling, a technique he has mastered with precision, lends the composition a raw, almost electric energy, in dialogue with the aesthetics of record sleeves and concert posters. This evocation of rock doesn't seek to represent a particular artist, but rather to crystallize a spirit: that of a triumphant popular culture, made up of rhythms, lights and attitudes.
