Jacques MONORY (1924-2018) - Lot 4
Jacques MONORY (1924-2018) Self-portrait, 2000 Original serigraph. Paper: Moulin du Gué 250 g Format : 200 x 280 mm Justified 52/ 99 Note: Monochrome (his images are immersed in an electric blue) and the use of material that is both personal (photos taken by him) and collective (press and cinema images) contribute to making Jacques Monory's work a kind of disenchanted diary in which memory is bombarded by the outside world. His work makes him one of the most original figures of the Figuration Narrative movement.
