Editions Janninck Format: 125 x 210 mm Enclosed: an acrylic painting on unique paper for each copy. Note: Since the late 1960s, Bertrand Lavier (b. 1949, Châtillon-sur-Seine) has established himself as one of the leading figures of post-modernism. His work radically undermines traditional artistic categories. His most famous works include the Brandt/Fichet Bauche in 1984, the refrigerator on a safe, Giulietta in 1993, the impressive Lothar, a pylon blown down by the storm of 1999, and Chuck my Truck (1995-2000). A selection of Bertrand Lavier's public statements on art in general, his own in particular, and his relationship with the public, in this text accompanied by a unique work for each copy (acrylic paint on paper).
