René LAUBIES (1924-2006) Composition Lithograph signed lower right and justified 42/50 50.5 x 65 cm Slight sun exposure Note: Abstract composition structured by broad, purplish and bluish-gray flat tints, applied in superimposed, deliberately irregular layers. The gesture is broad and horizontal, revealing the texture of the paper and the variations in pressure characteristic of Jacques Laubies' meditative and gestural practice.
