Wilfried Sätty ( 1939-1982) and David Singer (20th century) - Lot 24

Wilfried Sätty ( 1939-1982) and David Singer (20th century) Poster for "Visionary Graphics" April 17 to June 1, 1970 Offset lithograph, signed by both artists 66 x 38.5 cm Note: Emblematic poster of the psychedelic and underground graphics scene of the late 1960s - early 1970s. Wilfried Sätty, a major figure in European visionary graphic design, and David Singer, associated with the Californian scene (notably rock poster productions), combine their worlds here: dense composition, symbolic iconography, intense chromaticism and typography integrated into the image. This poster bears witness to the transition of psychedelic graphics from a strictly musical context to institutional and museum recognition at the dawn of the 1970s. Condition: dull corners, foxing, tears and folds)
