David Sodios, "L'OMBRE DES VIVANTS" (The Shade of the Living - Lot 236
David Sodios, "L'OMBRE DES VIVANTS" (The Shade of the Living) Note: Monograph dedicated to photographer David Sodios, whose work explores the tension between human presence and interior space. In L'Ombre des vivants, light becomes narrative matter. Silhouettes, cast shadows and pronounced grain create an introspective, almost cinematic atmosphere. The book develops a chiaroscuro aesthetic in which the human figure appears fragile, sometimes fleeting, inscribed in a dramaturgy of light. The book is part of contemporary French photography, attentive to the margins, the intimate and areas of visual uncertainty.
