Thomas CONSANI (1970) - Lot 163

Thomas CONSANI (1970) Dog Walker, New York, 1989 Silver print In the margin, located, dated and signed Countersigned on back Dimensions including margins: 30 x 40 cm Note: In this New York street scene, Thomas Consani captures a moment of ordinary daily life transformed into a tableau vivant by precise framing and a sense of rhythm. The silhouette of the dog-walker in the center becomes the axis around which an animal choreography full of tension and imbalance is organized. The wet ground, reflections and urban backgrounds add visual depth and an almost cinematic atmosphere. Black and white accentuates the timelessness of the scene, oscillating between documentary snapshot and skilfully constructed composition.
