Philippe ROCHOT (1946) - Lot 178
Philippe ROCHOT (1946) China 2004 Digital print 30 x 45 cm Note: Photograph by journalist Philippe Rochot of a scene in China in 2004. This image is part of a documentary approach born of his fieldwork, attentive to the country's social and urban transformations. It bears witness to a period of rapid change in China at the beginning of the 21st century, marked by sustained economic growth and profound changes in lifestyles. The digital print is a contemporary process, to be distinguished from silver-based techniques, a factor to be taken into account when assessing the work.
