Johnny Hallyday with Carol and Lucky, circa 1967 - Lot 29
Johnny Hallyday with Carol and Lucky, circa 1967 Black-and-white digital print 30.3 x 39.5 cm Note: This photograph shows Johnny Hallyday accompanied by his two children, Carol and Lucky, in a typical urban setting of the late 1960s. Seated in front of a sports car, the artist appears here in a scene of family life, far from the stage and media imagery usually associated with his career. Black and white reinforces the documentary character of the image, while the frontal composition and natural posture of the subjects give the whole an intimate yet emblematic dimension of the period. This photograph is part of the rarer Johnny Hallyday iconography, revealing a personal facet of the artist at a key moment in his public career.
