Steve McQueen's Ford Mustang in "Bullitt", circa 1968 - Lot 40
Steve McQueen's Ford Mustang in "Bullitt", circa 1968 Black and white print Dimensions: 20 x 28.5 cm Note : Emblematic view of the Ford Mustang GT 390 Fastback made famous by the legendary Bullitt car chase, a sequence considered one of the most memorable in the history of automobile cinema. The low-angle framing and high-contrast black and white accentuate the vehicle's muscular lines and almost sculptural aura. This car alone embodies the raw, realistic aesthetic of the American crime thriller of the late 1960s.
