WILLY RONIS (1910 - 2009) - Lot 170
WILLY RONIS (1910 - 2009) Rue Mogador Paris 1952 Silver print from 1985 Guilbrom photo paper Signed in the margin Dimensions including margins : 40 x 30 cm Image size : 24 x 30 cm Size with mat : 35 x 45 cm Note: The scene captures the movement of a crowd in front of a busy venue, probably a cinema or theater. The blur of passers-by contrasts with the gaze of a child in the foreground, the anchor of the image. The lights and bustle reflect the post-war urban life so dear to humanist photography.
