Thomas CONSANI (1970) - Lot 289
Thomas CONSANI (1970)
Rajasthan, 2007
Silver print
Titled, signed, dated on the margin
Dimensions including margins: 40 x 50 cm
Note: Thomas Consani is a humanist photographer, attentive to simple gestures and suspended moments. In Rajasthan, he captures an intimate scene where a reclining body, bathed in light, becomes almost an abstract form.
The contrast between deep shadows and low-angled light structures the image, while the geometric pattern of the floor dialogues with the posture of the figure. Everyday life is transformed into a graphic composition.
The work blends observation and aestheticism, revealing the discreet poetry of an ordinary moment, where body and space respond to each other.
