LINGERIE AND UNDERWEAR Sexy Fashion Attitudes, 1950s. 6 photographs by Jacques Exertier, silver gelatin prints on vintage card stock, the photographer’s autograph in the lower corner of each image, his wet stamp with three dots, and some annotated. Approximately 24 x 18 cm each. Note: In the 1950s, lingerie photography broke free from convention and began to play more freely with the codes of seduction and staging. These six prints by Jacques Exertier, all signed by his own hand, form a bold collection centered on femininity and the fashion of the era.
