HAUTE COUTURE Dress sketches, 1960s. 2 vintage folios with flaps, containing 22 cardboard-backed sheets (on pink-tinted paper) and 17 sheets (white background), respectively, featuring reproductions of design sketches (by M. Demonne). 32 x 19 cm (each sheet); 36 x 20 cm (folder). Tears along the edges of the folders. Note: These two sets of sketches offer a valuable glimpse into haute couture design in the 1960s. The dresses and silhouettes drawn by M. Demonne reflect the richness of the lines and the inventiveness of a decade that profoundly transformed women’s fashion.
