DAISY DIAMOND RING Daisy ring in openwork platinum (850‰) and white gold (750‰), set with an old-cut diamond at the center, surrounded by alternating baguette- and navette-cut diamonds. Made in France, circa 1950–60. Size: 54. Width: 1.5 cm. Gross weight: 7.4 g. Note: This ring, characteristic of 1950s designs, reinterprets the classic daisy motif in a more architectural style. The combination of baguette- and navette-cut diamonds creates an elegant, radiant effect around the central diamond, while the platinum and white gold setting highlights the stones’ whiteness. An iconic piece of postwar French jewelry.
