Note: This collection, dedicated to Joséphine Baker’s final public appearances, includes two photographs taken in 1975 as well as a souvenir program from the London production of *The Last Show*. Presented shortly before her death, this show marked the artist’s triumphant return to the stage after a career spanning more than half a century. A true legend of international vaudeville, Josephine Baker celebrated the highlights of her career in this show, from her Parisian debut during the Roaring Twenties to her status as a global icon of the performing arts. The period photographs, combined with the original program, offer a precious record of this final tour, which was met with immense enthusiasm from audiences and critics alike. This collection illustrates the final chapters of the exceptional career of an artist whose influence extends far beyond the world of entertainment to become part of the cultural and social history of the 20th century.
