FRENCH STUD BOOK A very rare collector’s item (1838–1847) 5 volumes bound in red half-basane leather and a supplement. The French Stud Book is a periodical that has been published continuously to the present day and is based on the “registration book for the registration of purebred stallions and mares in France” established by the royal ordinance of March 3, 1833. At the beginning of the volume are the racing regulations adopted on December 15, 1837.
