JEAN-LUC GODARD - Lot 51
JEAN-LUC GODARD
And Michel Subor, during the filming (camera) of the movie "Le Petit Soldat" in a car in Paris (in front of the Petit Palais), 1960.
Photo, vintage silver print, stamped and annotated on the back.
18 x 23.8 cm.
Condition: some signs of handling visible only when held up to the light.
Note: “Le Petit Soldat,” Godard’s second feature film, banned by censors until 1963 for its depiction of the Algerian War, also marks his meeting with Anna Karina. A candid shot from the set in the streets of Paris, true to the spirit of the French New Wave.
