JACQUES BECKER - Lot 60
JACQUES BECKER With Maurice Ronet, Nicole Courcel, Daniel Gélin... during the filming (behind the camera) of the movie "Rendez-vous de juillet" on the Seine, 1949. Photo, vintage silver print, small annotation in the margin, blank reverse. 15.7 x 12.6 cm including margin. Note: Winner of the 1949 Louis-Delluc Prize, “Rendez-vous de juillet” captures the spirit of youth in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, featuring Daniel Gélin, Nicole Courcel, and Maurice Ronet in his early career. A still from the film shoot on the Seine, brimming with postwar enthusiasm.
