JEAN COCTEAU - Lot 108
JEAN COCTEAU "Le Potomak" (1920s), Poèsie plastique (Exhibition of objects and drawings at the Aux Quatre Chemins gallery—Paris, 1926), and Publications/contributions to Éditions du Rocher (1940s–1950s). 3 period documents: a leaflet/flyer (two-fold with a drawn portrait of Cocteau on one side), a catalog (16 pp., some with full-page illustrations + cover), and a double-sided flyer/brochure. 16 x 9.6 cm to 20.7 x 15.3 cm. One edge of the leaflet is scorched. Note: Reflecting the work of a multifaceted creator who bridged poetry and the visual arts, this lot preserves the evocative power of the printed materials that helped spread the ideas and images of their era. A prime piece to enrich a collection dedicated to 20th-century arts and documents.
