A French actress with an international career, Simone Simon enjoyed considerable success in Hollywood from the late 1930s, thanks in particular to her roles for Fox, before becoming a key figure in fantasy cinema with Jacques Tourneur's Cat People in 1942. Vintage promotional portraits signed by her, especially on cartoline paper and accompanied by a personalized mailing, are sought-after by collectors of autographs and classic French and Hollywood cinema.
