Typewritten bilingual captions, stamps, and credits reading “Gérard Schachmes / Sygma” or “Owen Franken / Sygma” on the reverse, depending on the print. Approximately 20 × 30 cm each. Note: A set of five photographs capturing two defining moments in Diana Ross’s career. The first four images, taken by Gérard Schachmes in June 1982, document her visit to Paris for her concerts at the Palais des Sports and her meetings with several figures from the fashion world. The fifth, photographed by Owen Franken in New York in January 1984, captures her philanthropic efforts during the presentation of a donation to Central Park. Preserved with their original captions and stamps, these prints illustrate the international fame of the former Supremes singer in the early 1980s.
