John Harrison LEVEE (1924-2017) - Lot 10
John Harrison LEVEE (1924-2017) Composition Mixed media on board Signed and dated (19)79 Dated 1979 on back On the back, 119 rue notre-dame-des-champs Corned corners and folds 74.3 x 50 cm Note: This 1979 composition reflects a more geometric and structured period in John Harrison Levee's work, in which the artist explores the articulation between closed forms, colored rhythms and graphic organization. Despite corroded corners and a few folds, the work retains a beautiful chromatic liveliness and remains an interesting testimony to Levee's work of the late 1970s.
